This past December, Elle A Events had the great pleasure of working with Mr. Lou E. Perez for his annual charity gala honoring the Lou E. Perez Foundation. We quickly learned that Mr. Perez was not only a phenomenal entrepreneur who has dedicated a lot of his time to charity, but a wonderful family man who adores his wife and new baby boy.
The special event was held at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel where our team transformed the venue into an "evening under the stars". We added our own personal touches including a starlit ceiling, custom-made flower wall and personalized centerpieces for each table with glitter covered manzanita trees including a mixture of white hydrangea and orchids.
As guests entered the Rodeo Ballroom, we had three photographers capturing every moment of the evening. The beautiful Leanne Wilson held interviews as guests walked the carpet with a 20 ft long step-and-repeat. The joyful night began with Mr. Perez's custom wine and tequila being served upon arrival as well as a lively mariachi band from Mariachi Palenque de Aurelio Reyes.
Proceeding cocktail hour, guests made their way through to the grand ballroom where a delicious three course meal was served and the evening activities commenced. Hosting the gala was one of Mr. Perez's dear friends, Mario Lopez. Next, was an amazing award show designed to give thanks for all of the volunteers, supporters and employees for their hard work throughout the year.
Following the award show, guests were entertained with performances from an 80's cover band called The Flock of 80's, two salsa couples from Liz Watts and Company, an authentic Cumbia Band that was flown in and Mr. Defari, who kept guests dancing the night away during this very special evening.
Overall, we were very honored to have produced such a special evening for Mr. Perez and his foundation and we look forward to many more successful events.
